Trust Me, Mr. Know-it-All, Single and I'm-Bettin-Seldomly-Ever-Even-Dated -- "Wonderwoman" Was Actually EASIER

So, I let high school band uniforms sorta push me over the edge this morning.

No really.

See, this is Red's first year with the school band. She's in 6th grade - middle school - not even junior high yet. But apparently all levels of the band are participating in the fundraiser to buy uniforms for the high school.  Ok. Fine. Red may very well eventually be using those uniforms. Why not help raise the money, right?

BUT, when she said to me this morning -- "We need to get the fundraiser in soon.  The teacher told us today that we're supposed to try and sell 10 each, and if we do we get to have a little party.  ...And I don't wanna be the reason we can't have the party," -- I sorta went off (but in my head, mostly, . . . thankfully)

I was all like:  OH-m'gosh.  Seriously???  We just finished up the fundraiser for the parent/teacher organization a week ago (and, of course, we were supposed to try and sell sell sell that stuff so our kids could win some of the awesome prizes they were offering), and now we have to try and sell 10 of these things too?  And then of course we'll have the ballet fundraiser coming up . . .  And why IN THE HELL do we have to sell stuff for the ballet school when we're paying them the astronomical amount we're paying them every month ANYway?!)   Honestly.  How much stuff can we sell within two or three months!?  Geeez....  LAY the  %$&! OFF, people.

I dunno. I guess it's just gonna be one of those days . . .

Think you're gonna have to work really hard to keep your shit in check today, Fred.
